Seller-fulfilled shipping and Prime

Amazon shipping: delivery promises you can keep

You ship some or all of your Amazon orders yourself. We set up your shipping templates, handling times and delivery regions to match your warehouse and carriers, then monitor the metrics that decide your Prime badge. Buyers see an accurate delivery date, and you meet it.

What we set up and monitor

  • Shipping templates

One template per product family: standard, oversize, fragile, chilled. Each SKU is assigned to the right template, with a shipping fee that covers the real cost of delivery.

  • Handling times

The handling time shown follows your warehouse’s real pace: order cut-off time, shipping days, weekends and public holidays.

  • Regions and transit times

Region by region, transit times aligned with what your carrier actually delivers: mainland France, Corsica, neighbouring countries.

  • Seller Fulfilled Prime

The Prime template, its national coverage and its delivery speeds, set to keep the badge without promising what your carrier cannot deliver.

  • Performance metrics

On-time delivery, valid tracking, cancellations, on-time shipping. Every gap is analysed order by order, before it costs you the Prime badge.

  • Consistency with your tools

Shipping software, feed manager, web store: we check that none of them overwrites the settings made in Amazon.

What it changes for you

  • Accurate delivery dates

Buyers see a promise you keep, and your metrics stay within Amazon’s targets.

  • A protected Prime badge

The criteria are tracked every week, not discovered on the day of a warning.

  • Fair shipping fees

Each product carries its own delivery cost: no margin lost on chilled or oversize items, no off-putting fees on the rest.

  • Fewer disputes

Fewer late orders mean fewer buyer messages, claims and negative feedback about delivery.

Prime badge kept, with 98.3% on-time deliveries

The challenge

On-time delivery had fallen below Amazon’s target, mostly in south-eastern France and for orders promised on Saturdays. A repeated miss means a warning, then the loss of the Prime badge.

What we did

  • Analysed 827 late deliveries by region, promised day and carrier.
  • Extended transit times only for the regions in difficulty, without reducing national Prime coverage.
  • Applied a national Prime template to every offer, checked before the switch.
  • Removed the Saturday delivery promise, which the carrier was not meeting.

The result

  • 98.3%on-time deliveries, against an Amazon target of 92%
  • 100%valid tracking
  • 0%cancellations

Prime programme readings, September 2026: Seller Fulfilled Prime badge kept.

A producer of gourmet specialities from south-west France, shipping its own shelf-stable and chilled products.

A dedicated shipping template for chilled products, without touching the client’s feed

The challenge

Foie gras, salmon, products kept between 0 and 4 °C: chilled items shipped on the same template as the grocery range, at the same fee, although they travel refrigerated with a dedicated, far more expensive carrier.

What we did

  • Went through the client’s product list item by item and matched each Amazon offer by barcode, including offers still listed under an old code.
  • Set up a “chilled products” template: a fee that covers refrigerated transport, delivery in 2 to 3 working days across mainland France.
  • Handled Corsica, which Amazon does not allow to be removed from a template: a price and a transit time that cover an express chilled shipment.
  • Checked that the client’s feed manager sends no shipping template, so that no update overwrites the setting.
  • Assigned the template SKU by SKU, then checked each offer and the product pages as buyers see them.

The result

  • 37SKUs moved to the chilled products template
  • 0changes to the client’s feed

Chilled shipping fees now cover refrigerated transport, as on the client’s own website.

How we work

  1. 1Free

    Diagnosis

Your shipping templates, handling times, Prime metrics and how your warehouse operates. We tell you what is going wrong and what can be fixed.

  2. 2Official Amazon process

    Authorisation

You authorise us from Seller Central, through Amazon’s service provider process. For this service: Shipping Settings (edit) and Seller Fulfilled Prime Analytics (view).

  3. 3Every week

    Settings and monitoring

Each change is first tested on a few SKUs and checked on the product page as buyers see it, then rolled out. After that, the metrics are monitored every week.

Your data: this service does not use your buyers’ addresses or contact details. Shipping settings and Prime metrics are enough. Retention, security and incident handling: our privacy policy (FR).

What we do not do: pick, pack or ship your parcels, or negotiate your carrier contracts. We set up Amazon so that it matches your logistics.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from FBA?

With FBA, Amazon stores and ships your products. With seller-fulfilled shipping, you ship from your own warehouse, and your settings decide the delivery date shown to buyers. Many brands combine both: we also manage your FBA shipments.

How do you keep the Seller Fulfilled Prime badge?

Amazon reviews on-time delivery, valid tracking and cancellations every week, with targets by product category. A first and then a second warning can be issued; at the third miss on the same criterion, the category is suspended from the programme. We monitor these metrics and adjust the settings before a gap repeats.

Can a region such as Corsica be excluded?

No: Amazon does not allow a region of the marketplace country to be removed from a shipping template. What remains is the price and the transit time, which we set to cover the real cost of delivery.

Do you work with our shipping software?

Yes. Shipping software such as Shippingbo, a feed manager or a web store: we check what each one sends to Amazon, so that it does not overwrite the shipping settings.

How much does it cost?

Shipping is included in the management of your Amazon account: from €500 excl. VAT per month, plus a percentage of the sales we generate. The diagnosis is free.
